I have selected the shoes that will take me across Italy and they are - ta da! - Born Susy's! Incredibly comfortable and durable enough to conquer the cobblestones, these babies are an inch-and-a-half shorter than my regular footwear. Not that there's anything wrong with that. It's just that I look like Dopey the Dwarf in all of my pants now.

Congrats on your new footwear! I call mine my Minnie Mouse shoes. So elegant and chic, lol.
Thanks, M. I keep telling myself they aren't as bad as earth shoes. And the beauty of these beauties is they took me two short days to break in. So comfy!! As an aside, I just noticed my middle-aged physique is more Dopey-esque than I care to admit!
Every single time I come home from Europe, I vow to lose weight. I find it almost impossible to buy clothes there in a size 10 or above. Wish I could say the same about everything else. So many temptations, so much fun. The Italians are just lovely people, too.
Those should be perfect!
I have never heard of these shoes. I need a full report on their magic.
Carol, I have two pairs of Born boots and love them. Not sure how 'magical' the shoes are, but they're super comfy and have been a breeze to break in.
