That stork must be exhausted
The indefatigable Duggar family, stars of a TLC reality show I've never seen - was back on the Today show this morning with - surprise, surprise! - another birth announcement: 45-year-old Michelle Dugar, mother of 19 and grandmother of 2, is pregnant and due in April...with Number 20. My only question is...
is that the look of love or desperation on the poor woman's face? That smiling sap she'sheld captive by married to needs to be fixed right now... on the Today show.

IMHO There is something seriously wrong with those people. Having 20 children is ridiculous.
PS) Please note, I can find no HUMOR in this, even though it's a GOLDMINE for jokes.
Agreed, TT. And I wish the Today show - and others - would stop giving these irresponsible nut jobs a platform.
WOW (and that's a good wow!). 20 kids? That's just INSANE. DO these people not have a TV??
OOPS... I missed a word out.... I meant to say and that's NOT a good wow!! OOPS!!!
I can't believe the reality tv following these nut-bags have and that a major network is endorsing them. She and the last baby almost died from complications. The Duggar's are very conservative Baptists who follow the "Quiverfull" sect. which says that husband/men are dominant, women meant to serve only under male direction, sex on demand from women without question and no birth control what-so-ever. When God doesn't want you to have any more children "HE" will make it happen. Sick and scary imho.
There was an interesting take on this in a NYTimes blog that was basically "who are we to tell others how many children is too many, or enough?" And while I can understand that rationally, that it should be their decision alone and I should not mock or judge them, well, emotionally I cannot get behind having this many kids. It's like they kind of fall off the publicity radar screen and they say, "oh, let's have another kid so we can pump up our brand!"
That woman has been reduced to a human puppy mill.
I do not watch their show, but occ. it's on the TV at the gym. The way the girls (and boys) are being "indoctrinated" just breaks my heart.
The whole "quiverfull" movement is insanity to me. And I, too, wish the Today show and others would quit acting like these people are some sort of national heroes and not give them publicity. They are part of the whole "Kardashian, Jersey Shore, Kate plus Eight" fascination Americans have with "celebrity."
Kim, well said. I completely agree with you. I knew nothing of the Quiverfull cult, but that certainly explains the insanity, and the look on her face in the photo I posted. I've noticed she's always checking in with him, looking for approval, any time she's being interviewed. Wow. When she said she was doing the elliptical for an hour a day to stay healthy enough to sustain the pregnancy, she looked right at him as if to say 'just as you told me to'. It makes me sick.
Better her than us. These folks are wack-a-doodle. There, I said it.
