Me thinks the lady doth protest too much


     "Don't get me anything for Valentine's Day," I say, predictably, every year. "I mean it. Save your money. It's just a nothing holiday created to sell chocolate and greeting cards. I'm serious about this now. Consider it a 'honey-don't'. No purchase necessary."
     I just love it when he ignores my instructions.
