I got this too. So heavy I nearly pulled a muscle lifting it. Ridiculous! Let's start a movement.
Oh girls! I absolutely loved this catalogue, pretentious or not...elegant design, photography, printing and American made products to boot. It's American exceptionalism right in your post box.
Think of all the people involved in creating not only this catalogue, but the products within, all the way to the consumer...and again and again. Not to mention the local, state and federal taxes it produced.
It's a beautiful thing. Enjoy it.
The products are fine, it's true. But the catalogue, although pretty, really is a waste. Do one small catalogue, if you must, with your best representative pieces, and direct people to the website for more.
And, it was too big for the post box. The poor UPS guy had to lug it to the door.
