Silence is golden. Or, so they say.

My column today, about my short bout of laryngitis, seems like a distant memory. Especially for the old man. I'm back in full voice and the party's over, baby.

Great column. You could've carried around a pad, like Holly Hunter in "The Piano." But I'm sure it was more fun to drive Rexy crazy.
