Check out this revolutionary eyewear company, as seen on CBS Sunday today. I'm on WarbyParker.com right now, ordering a pair of Winston's in Lunar Fade. My dream of owning a wardrobe of specs just came true. Bravo, boys! No doubt your boomer parents are proud...and grateful!
My life's adventures including - but not limited to - consumer reviews of products, services and travel experiences of interest to baby boomer women.

Clarification: I am ordering the frames for $85, and will have the lenses put in here. The company only does single-vision lenses right now. Still... cool, retro frames - completely guaranteed or my money back - for under $100? Gotta love it!
I saw this report too, BG, and went on the website. It doesn't mention what they charge for lenses. Can't wait to see you in your new specs.
It's $95 for frames and lenses, but only if you do a single-vision lens. Which, of course, I do not. So I have to get the frames (they give 10% off when you don't get a prescription) shipped, then have someone put lenses in.
I have frames similar to these that I got about a year ago. It was sooooo hard to find this shape a year ago....and the stores here are still mostly the skinny wire frames that make me look like a piggy. I am going to order some frames and get my scrip in them. Sooooooo coool. Thanks for posting this as I did not see the story yesterday.
Did your eye care center give you any grief about bringing in your own frames and having them put the lenses in?
