Cyber-Seniors: Why isn't every town in America doing this?

Just got a press release on the debut of this charming film. Makes me want to dash down to the local senior center and start up a program:

I love it! It reminds me how proud I am of my 86 year olde Dad. He's actively learning new things on his computer (thanks to both him and my husband) including using email, word documents, skype (!), browsing the internet, etc. Yay!

Fab, BG! Keeping current on tech is so important. I hope I will as I age - so far, so good. As a Boomer we are totally cyber connected with everything available. Several years ago my hubs 90 y.o. grandad was instantly hooked on his computer, email, video chat, web, etc. once we gave him a few lessons. A whole new world opened up to him for his remaining years living alone. We kept in touch with him so much more and vice versa. Which we/he loved. But to each his own . . . our parents now in their 80's - forget it. Had to threaten them to at least buy a cell phone for safety reasons. Ah well. . .
