What's up with Oregon?
Yesterday, I had my last session with my magical massage therapist who is moving to Eugene, Oregon. I told her my son is saving to move to Bend (OR) as soon as possible. When I got home, all relaxed and wet-noodley, I discovered my daughter may be heading to Portland to try and find a job. What's with everybody suddenly migrating to the Big O? Is Oregon the new black? And, do I need to go there, too?

Well BG, let us know if you find out the answer? I'm just going to migrate to Austin, TX. Apparently, according to CBS news, Austin has had the most job growth of anywhere in the country. Also affordable housing and a clean environment. :) Good luck to the kids!
(Aren't you supposed to be in Italy by now? Or did your accident postpone your departure?) I would prefer they go to Austin since it's easier and cheaper to get to. But, as I always say, follow your bliss....
If you go to Oregon, I'm coming with you.
We leave for Italy this Wednesday! Glad to have had this week to recover from the fall. Still have a small bit of purple bruising under my eye, but doing pretty well. Thanks, and love the bar stools!
Marg, you're a lucky girl and I am unabashedly jealous. Arrivederci!
Carol, I'm thinking a summer home - you, me, lots of galoshes and only occasional visits from the kids. I'll play the lottery tonight. Fingers crossed!
