Cabin Fever: Act One, Scene 1

Me: What are you gonna do?
He: I dunno. What are you gonna do?
Me: Think I'll take a shower, dry my hair. Just in case we lose power.
He: I'm gonna go get some gas for the generator.
Me: Good idea. Take your time.
He: Is it five o'clock yet?
Me: Maybe in Beirut.
He: That's too far.
Me: Yeah. And the roads are gnarly. You wouldn't make it to Topeka.

Washing and styling hair always good idea when under stressful weather conditions. Apply makeup, too. Bake a chocolate cake and open a bottle of wine. The white stuff could be here in Houston by Friday morn. Hope you and Hub can relax and enjoy, knowing you don't have to keep the kids occupied anymore.

It's important to look lovely, even in a would-be blizzard. Make sure you have make-up on all day, too. You'll want to look fetching for the rescue team (God forbid!) xxx

No! No makeup. I want to look as old as possible in case they're going with the 'elderly and children first' approach.

I'm loving the cabin fever scenes. Of course, I'm in sunshine. Which isn't fair, but then, what is?

Stuck home because of my blizzard here in Iowa. One of my worst blizzard fears - no power for my hairdryer and no lights so I can't see to put on my makeup.

Well, you never know when you're out shoveling snow if a local tv news team will drive by and take pictures.
