That looks so pretty and refreshing. It is so hot, plus we are cleaning and purging the closets. We move in little over 4 weeks. Will spend about a month homeless as our house in Austin won't be finished till mid September. We are feeling our age today.
I'll bet you are!! I was thinking, if it's this hot here.... but then I looked on the Weather Channel and it's actually cooler in Houston. Good luck. Don't overdo it.
According to my husband... the density of the lime is slightly more than that of the lemon. Both limes and lemons are close to the density of water... limes slightly more, lemons less. Therefore the limes sink and lemons float. Who knew? Very interesting.
I've seen those with orange slices, too, which I think were somewhere in the middle. Very interesting - who knew limes were so heavy?
Thanks, TT. My daughter guessed it might be a density thing because the limes were so much smaller than the lemons. I was too dense to figure it out. But, it was a fun little summer experiment in citrus. And the water is so tasty, too!
