Are you a cuddler? Is he? Is it really cuddling?

A new study suggests that physical shows of affection - including cuddling and kissing - are more important to men than they are to women. I'll admit I can be skeptical about studies, at times, but could this possibly be because men see cuddling and kissing as a gateway to sex?

Who cares what the reason is. It is nice to cuddle. It brings you close to that person you love and provides you with feelings of security, comfort, and bliss. I am all for it.

Agreed, Annie. I'm all for it, too. But I think lots of women are content as can be to JUST cuddle. Men, not so much.

Totally agree, Cathy! Often, cuddling for guys=prelude to -um- "lower" cuddling. And that's not to say I'm not all for it--just sometimes cuddling is all I want!

Now this is how to cuddle. Generally, I agree with all of you on cuddling.

A) I love that a conversation about cuddling has ensued. (Let's go to the next level and discuss spooning next week.)

B) That video reminds me of my husband and our dog. I keep saying, "I like to be scratched behind my ears, too" but it does no good.
