My project this morning is to figure out which adapter to buy so I can post our European adventures to BoomerGirl on my Mac. Given that our land itinerary includes only France and Italy, I think this is the one.
Fortunately, my Blackberry came with an international charger kit, so that's one less thing to worry about. Oh, and the government shutdown being averted. That, too.

Did you know cruise ships have Internet rooms where you can pay for access. They're expensive but often less than international roaming charges on your phone service.
Also with your blackberry, you may want to turn it off when not using it on the cruise. As the ship goes in and out of signal range of land, the phone will look for email and app update... And you pay the roaming charges! A friend came home from a cruise and saw a lot of these charges on his phone bill, he wasn't happy!
