Beef Wellington night!

Our Christmas Eve tradition: A feast featuring Beef Wellington (see last year's Wellie above), delectable side dishes, the best wine we can find in the rack, and home-baked cookies with White Russians for dessert.  (It's great having adult kids.) Dinner will be followed by the watching of the G-rated movie. This year: "The Sound of Music" (my son's choice, if you can believe that), to be viewed in front of a roaring fire, then a blissfully early bedtime.  It's my favorite day of the year.
Merry Christmas to all and to all a good night!

Merry Christmas BG! Your Wellington looks wonderful. Tradition is so comforting. We will be having our traditional mexican food and this year, homemade tamales. My younger son who is 25 has decided to master the making of! Good times. Peace and love to you and yours. Marguerite

M, I have a good friend in Brownsville who has tamales every year, too! She gets together with other locals and they all make them together. Wonderful tradition! Peace and love back at you!
