Thanks for the tribute to Andy, BG. Moon River made him my huckleberry friend and sweetheart for all these years. I'll miss him for sure, but his albums will keep him in a special place in my home and in my heart.
My pleasure, Anon. My mother, grandmother and I adored Andy. I remember his Christmas specials with Claudine Longet, and loved "Moon River," which always reminds me of one of my favorite movies, "Breakfast at Tiffany's." I poo-poo'ed the idea of attending his show in Branson in recent years, but I regret that now. He was a national treasure.
You're so right, sweetie.
