Jeff's "Journey of Hope"
Today, I wrote about a young man who happens to be a friend of my son and daughter and, in fact, was her math tutor in high school (family curse: no head for numbers). He is bicycling across country this summer to raise awareness and money for organizations that serve people with disabilities. Covering his inspiring story made me ask myself what I was doing to better humanity. Not enough, certainly. That, among other things, is what I'm thinking about today. Deep thoughts, indeed. But, it beats the hell out of complaining about the heat.
