I had fun covering this story about some of the crazy, colorful examples of yard art around town. What's not to love about a guy who poses for the newspaper while "watering" metal flowers in his front yard? We had some whimsical art in our front yard once. Unfortunately, due to our proximity to the KU campus, everything we put out "walked away." Nowadays, all that remains is our beloved Holstein, tucked away in the backyard, a vestige of one of my many short-lived enterprises, The Kansas Cow Company.
My life's adventures including - but not limited to - consumer reviews of products, services and travel experiences of interest to baby boomer women.

The Holstein looks very comfortable in your safe back yard. I follow yard art thefts as part of my obsession.
